"You have to be geared up for every condition that you might encounter anywhere else," Kaizer Chiefs defender Tefu ‘Masha’ Mashamaite was talking from the Bafana Bafana camp in Rustenburg. Bafana Bafana are preparing for their upcoming 2015 Afcon qualifiers against Congo on Saturday, October 11, in Pointe Noire at 16:30.

'Masha' talks highly about the new blood in Coach Mashaba's squad, "There are a couple of youngsters in the team and they are full of energy. We don't have enough time to gel as a team. In these situations you do not have time to do a whole lot of things, so we just mingle during food time and at training."

'Masha' sees hunger in the squad, "The mood is good in the camp. Every player in the team has been showing hunger and a drive and that is a good sign ahead of the game."

'Masha' calls for support, "We wish to see the South Africans rallying behind this exciting and promising group of players that are representing the nation."

'Masha' is looking forward to the tough encounter against Congo, "I am looking forward the games, but firstly I have to work hard here at training and adapt to the structure of the Bafana Bafana squad.

Erick Mathoho, Mandla Masango and Reneilwe Letsholonyane are the other three Glamour Boys in camp.

Bafana Bafana will complete this round of Fifa week with an assignment next Wednesday, October 15, against Congo at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, kickoff is scheduled at 20:05.
