Bafana Bafana coach Owen de Gama has decided to nearly completely overhaul the team that beat Guinea-Bissau on Saturday.

There are only two survivors of that line-up. One of them is Amakhosi defender Erick Mathoho.

Itumeleng Khune, Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Lorenzo Gordinho will all be on the substitute bench in this evening’s friendly match against Angola.

It will be interesting to see if Gordinho will be handed a few minutes by the coach, which would give the young Glamour Boy his first South African national (senior) team cap.

The international friendly between South Africa and Angola will be played at East London’s Buffalo City Stadium, kick-off is at 19:00.
