Kaizer Chiefs defender Erick Mathoho has been called up to Bafana Bafana squad to play in two friendly games against Australia and New Zealand in May.
Mathoho will replace the injured Siyanda Xulu. Mathoho is joining his teammates at Club level, Captain Itumeleng Khune, defender Tsepo Masilela, midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala and striker Bernard Parker. The selected players are required to report for National Team duties at Southern Sun Hotel OR Tambo International Airport Johannesburg on Monday the 19 May 2014.
Bafana will take on Australia at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney on May 26, at 11:30 SA time, before meeting New Zealand at the Smart Stadium in Auckland on May 30, at 09:30 SA time.

Goalkeepers: Itumeleng Khune, Ronwen Williams.
Defenders: Anelel Ngcongca, Thabo Nthethe, Buhle Mkhwanazi, Erick Mathoho, Thabo Matlaba, Tsepo Masilela.
Midfielders: Hlompho Kekana, Andile Jali, Bongani Zungu, Themba Zwane, Oupa Manyisa, Thulani Serero, Ayanda Patosi, Siphiwe Tshabalala.
Strikers: Bernard Parker, Tokelo Rantie.
