Mathoho, Maluleka’s injuries not serious

The Glamour Boys are going into this weekend’s 2014/15 Absa Premiership opening fixture against the unpredictable Free State Stars in Qwaqwa reporting three of their players in the injury list.



Bernard Parker



Parker is reported to be coming along well in his recovery from an ankle surgery. He has started jogging and doing some easy ball work.



Siphiwe Tshabalala



‘Shabba’ is also coming on steady but sure in his rehabilitation of a knee injury. He is expected to return to full training any time soon.



Matthew Rusike



Matthew is still battling with his knee and has been put in a brace. The Medical Team said they are monitoring his progress at this stage.



The good news is that George Maluleka and Erick Mathoho are still involved in full training after sustaining a knock and a cut on the lower lip respectively during the MTN 8 knockout victory over Black Aces last weekend.



The Amakhosi will be looking at the speedy recovery of the injured players ahead of the jam packed August fixture programme. The game against Free State Stars is scheduled on Saturday, 9 August 2014 at Charles Mopeli Stadium. Kickoff isat 15:00.
