Former national under-23 defender Fabian McCarthy has won his legal battle in a bid to get clearance from Sundowns in order to play for Kaizer Chiefs.
The court has granted an order that Sundowns issue an immediate clearance on McCarthy.
The court declared that the statement in the contract was “unconstitutional”.
A statement issued by the team manager declared Fabian McCarthy an official Kaizer Chiefs player.
