The year has kicked-off with a bang when Cape Towns’ Mfuleni Bluedowns Branch recently held their first general meeting. Under the leadership and guidance of branch chairman Stembile Stemela and organiser Xolani Samini a robust action plan was finalised for the next six months. The branch members will attend a number of matches, including the Soweto Derby on March 7. Other plans entail social responsibility initiatives as well as a variety of social gathering and other occasions.

“It is of critical importance that branches have at least a six month plan of action,” Kaizer Chiefs Supporters Relations Manager Tracy Williams stresses. “This helps to focus the entire branch to achieving their objectives. Advance planning has a big impact on successful outcomes. It facilitates better communication not only between fellow branch members but it also helps to cluster provincial and even national structures.”
