‘Micasa’ in buoyant mood ahead of the Soweto derby

Keegan Ritchie has told kaizerchiefs.com that he and his teammates have put the result against Jomo Cosmos midweek behind them and are now focusing on the Soweto derby at Soccer City on Saturday, 18 February 2012.



Kickoff for the game is at 18:00.



“We are all excited to be coming up against one of the inform team in the PSL at the moment,” said Ritchie who joined the Glamour Boys from Moroka Swallows this season.



“We were disappointed we could not come back with the result in Port Elizabeth against Jomo Cosmos. That game is now water under the bridge, our 100% focus is on our next game.



Ritchie is still looking for his first goal in gold and black came close twice against Jomo Cosmos forcing goalkeeper, Avral Phali to make a save from set piece.



“I have been doing lot of practise and hopefully soon I will score my first goal for the Club,” said the player affectionately known as ‘Micasa’.



Ritchie revealed he still keeps in touch with some of Swallows teammates; “I remain close to Da Costa but all that will be pushed aside tomorrow when we meet at Soccer City,”
