After a tough match on Saturday against Mamelodi Sundowns in the Shell Helix Ultra Cup, Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp will field a different team this afternoon when his side takes on Bloemfontein Celtic in the iTau Macufe Cup.
Notably, James Kotei will start his first game for Amakhosi in this friendly. The Ghanaian midfielder joined the team in June.
Another notable player in the line-up is Ramahlwe Mphahlele, who has been out for some time due to injury.
The faces from the Reserve team travelled to Bloemfontein after Saturday’s game.
In goal, Bruce Bvuma will do the work. He will be supported by Kgotso Moleko, Mphahlele, Lorenzo Gordinho and Njabulo Blom in defence.
