Pule faces a club disciplinary committee after disappearing on the eve of the Absa Cup first round the past Sunday. He is yet to contact the club.
"It's sad for such a talented person to be behaving in this way. I think, personally, he needs help and we have to try to get together and help him. He must know there are people out there who are willing to help him, but in the long run people could stop helping him too," said Moshoeu.
"His rehabilitation must continue outside the rehabilitation centre, with the people he mixes with, his friends and those he talks to. It does not make any sense and doesn't help if he continues to do the wrong things over and over," he added.
"I once told Jabu that we all do the wrong things sometimes. I've done a lot of those wrong things myself, but I survived. I look back at some of the things I did with the guys in Diepkloof when I was growing up and I shiver and tremble at the thought. Those guys have ended up in jail. I said to Jabu I was fortunate, but you might not be as fortunate, so be careful.
"I hope he will be one of the fortunate and lucky ones, but you have to help luck by doing the right things and I hope he's aware of that. Everyone at Chiefs loves Jabu, but there can come a time when even they say enough is enough. It's not a lost cause yet though," said Moshoeu.
