The much anticipated MTN 8 semi-final 2nd leg between archrivals Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs is taking place on Heritage Day, 24 September 2013 at Orlando Stadium.

Several roads leading to the historic Orlando Stadium will be closed and fans are are required to observe transportation and parking information to avoid problems.

Corporate Communications Manager Vina Maphosa appealed; "The tickets were sold out 48hrs after going on sale a few weeks ago. Soccer followers without match tickets are advised to stay at home and watch the match on TV or listen to the radio. Do not buy match and parking tickets from the side of the road. Law enforcers are on alert to identify criminal acts including arresting those who are in possession of fake tickets.

We urge the supporters who have their tickets to arrive at the stadium as early as 12:00. Road closures will come to effect from 09:00 on Tuesday morning. There will be safe public parking at FNB Stadium with Rea Vaya transfer to Orlando Stadium. Entertainment is planned for early birds with a DJ and other activations."

Road Closure Schedule - All roads will be closed at 9h00 and will be opened at 18h00.

Public Parking - General secured parking will be available only at FNB stadium. Parking will be sold at R10.00 via computicket outlet. Patrons will have to purchase the Rea Vaya transit tickets which will be sold at the Rea Vaya Soccer City station, prices for Double trip cards (to the value of R37.00) and single trip cards (to the value of R25.00). Soccer City Station will operate to Orlando Stadium Rea Vaya Station for the fans before and after the match. Fans will only be dropped at Rea Vaya stations along the BRT route.

The following transport is scheduled from 12:00 to Orlando and departing from Orlando from 17:30 onwards.

Rea Vaya Schedule - Rea Vaya will be operating the service to transport fans from its stations along the Rea Vaya route, pick up and drop off at the ORLANDO Stadium. The frequency of the service will be stepped up from the normal service to 5 minutes; from Thokoza Park and from Ellis Park at 12:00. This service will be for both normal commuters and fans. Fans will also be pick up and dropped off at the Soccer City station along the Soweto Highway.

Gautrain Shuttle service - Minibus shuttle service will be available @ Gautrain Park Station to Orlando Stadium, starting operating time is at 12 clock. A return trip will cost R40 and the last shuttle before the kick-off is at 14:30.
