Unplayable pitch conditions due to continous rain forced the match officials to postpone the final on Saturday.
Fans who could not make the re-scheduled match on Tuesday had the opportunity to have their tickets refunded.
“We had just under 1 300 tickets returned,” said Premier Soccer League CEO, Kjetil Siem.
“The good news is that no sooner had the tickets been returned, they were then snapped up and I’m really pleased by the support local soccer fans have shown.”
The MTN8 Final made PSL history as tickets were originally sold out within less than a week of going on sale.
The match will take place at the Absa Stadium in Durban.
Kick-off is at 20h15.
