The final between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs will be played at the FNB Stadium on 10 September 2011 with kick-off scheduled for 20h15.

Tickets will cost R40 and R60 for the upper and lower tiers respectively while the middle concourse will go for R150.

“We are really pulling out all the stops to ensure that we have a magnificent and well co-ordinated final,” explained PSL CEO, Zola Majavu.

“The MTN8 final showcases the best the PSL and sponsors MTN have to offer and I need to assure fans that they will get the best stadium experience possible.”

“Planning for the final is at an advanced stage already and together with all our stakeholders we will once again show the world how we can stage magnificent events,” Majavu added.

MTN will once again provide incentives for fans attending the match.

“The MTN8 tournament has been very successful thus far and we encourage supporters to purchase their tickets early and to come to the stadium in large numbers to support their teams. MTN will have many family activities on offer, such as the Yello Dome and special in-stadia competitions where they can win fantastic prizes,” said, Desiree Pooe, Senior Manager: Sponsorship and Events at MTN SA.

Majavu also met with Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs supporters today to encourage them to hype up the match and ensure that the sold out signs go up early. Following this meeting, it was confirmed that fans will be rewarded for their attendance and good behaviour.

As for as transport arrangements are concerned, parking tickets can be purchased through Computicket at R10 per car.

A detailed list of public transport plans as well as road closures will be released later this week.

Gates will open at 16h00.
