Musona leads Chiefs demolishing job in Mozambique

Kaizer Chiefs (4)3-0 Liga Desportiva Muçulmana de Maputo



The Amakhosi proceeded to the 2nd Round of the CAF Champions League after demolishing Liga Desportiva Muçulmana de Maputo of Mozambique.



The game started at a slow pace with Liga Desportiva Muçulmana de Maputo dictating terms in the opening minutes of the game without causing Chiefs any trouble.



The game was concentrated in the middle of the park for most of the early stages. With the first shot from Muçulmana in the 4th minute going wide.



In the 5th minute a good Rusike and Musona interchange sets Nkosi free to force goalie Milagre to make a save. The home side looked comfortable on the ball but still unable to break through the Chiefs back row.



In the 10th minute Masilela made a good run on the left and his attempt was defended well by Muculmana defenders..



Chiefs started to make their presence felt with Bukenya's long range going over the bar and in the



16th minute Rusike's shot hit the upright after a good Nkosi pass.



The Musona show started in the 17th minute to make it 1-0. Musona made it 2-0 in the 26th minute before completing his hat-trick of goals from a spot kick in the 30th minute.



Captain on the day Letsholonyane was substituted after getting a cut on his mouth. Maluleka took his place in the 52nd minute.



3 - 0 halftime score.



Musona was substituted for Nkhatha during halftime and in the 72nd minute Nkosi was replaced by Baloyi.



It was a well deserved win for the Amakhosi.
