The Zimbabwean-born sensation has been on song since the beginning of 2010/11 season banging nine goals in all competitions.
“I got it from my best mate and compatriot Tafadzwa Rusike who plays at Ajax Cape Town.
We did it when I scored in the national team against Mozambique.
I warned him that I might be the first to do the celebration in South Africa if I score against Santos. I remembered as I was running to the corner that I had to do it…he called me after the game to congratulate me,” said the soft-spoken Musona.
Musona who is enjoying a good form surprisingly told kaizerchiefs.com that he is not satisfied with his form just yet.
“I am not celebrating too much until the end of the season. I also think there are lot of areas I need to work on in improving my game.”
My focus is on Vasco and I am sure I am speaking for the team,” said Musona.
The Smilling Assassin added that he enjoys playing in the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
“The pitch is immaculate. It just motivates you as a player to do more when you play at such a ground.”
The atmosphere at the stadium was also nice and I am sure our fans will also come in numbers when we take on Vasco Da Game at FNB Stadium on Saturday,” he added before rushing to the afternoon training session.
