Team Physio Dave Milner has described the shoulder injury incurred by Knowledge Musona during the away TKO QF victory against Free State Stars on the 20th October 2013, as “not a common shoulder injury”.

Milner reported that Musona is settling well and the pain is reducing. “It will depend on how Musona responds to treatment. We are monitoring him and we have anticipated about six weeks as a period of recovery,” reported Milner.

Meanwhile, striker, Kaizer Motaung JNR had a bout of flu in the middle of his rehab programme from a niggling knee injury. Midfielder, Siyabonga Nkosi felt a bit of pain in the abductor muscle and it was decided to pull him out of the Team that travelled to Cape Town when Chiefs lost 0-1 to Ajax Cape Town on Tuesday.

Jimmy Jambo’s long route to recovery is at a stage where the fullback is doing full training with the rest of the Team. Jambo is recovering from a long term injury he suffered during the 2012 – 13 PSL season.
