Amakhosi are in Durban this evening for their second game of the 2024/25 Betway Premiership season. The team face AmaZulu at the Moses Mabhida stadium.

Kaizer Chiefs coach, Nasreddine Nabi, will want to add another three points on the road after collecting maximum points in the last outing against Marumo Gallants in Bloemfontein. Mduduzi Shabalala and Mfundo Vilakazi were on the scoresheet for Amakhosi in the 2-1 victory in front of a sold-out crowd.

The coach has decided to make two changes from the team that started that match, which was played ten days ago. The changes are in the midfield and attacking departments respectively, with Njabulo Blom replacing Samkelo Zwane , while Christian Saile is replaced by Wandile Duba.

The 30 000 tickets that were made available for the match have all been sold out.

Coach Nabi’s team will once again take to the field with a 4-4-2 formation.

Fiacre Ntwari keeps his position in goal.

Defenders, from left to right, are last game’s man of the match, Bradley Cross at left back, Rushwin Dortley and Inacio Miguel in the centre, with Reeve Frosler on the right.

Yusuf Maart and Blom take care of the midfield. They have Mduduzi Shabalala on the right with Gaston Sirino operating from the left wing.

Duba will join Ranga Chivaviro in the attacking role.

Maart will wear the captain’s armband.

Tonight’s referee is Jelly Chavani. His assistants are Oscar Tsotetsi and Thabo Thinane. The fourth official is Skhumbuzo Gasa..

The Phefeni Glamour Boys’ second Betway Premiership clash of the season against Usuthu will kick off at 19:30 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. The sold-out match is live on SuperSport’s PSL Channel 202 on DStv and SABC radio stations - with regular updates of the match on X (Twitter) @KaizerChiefs.
