Nahayo currently undergoing rehabilitation following an operation two weeks ago was pleased by his teammates performance on the day.
“I am very happy that we won the game. We needed to win this game following our loss against Celtic last Wednesday. Generally we played well and we could have won the game with a bigger margin.”
We put them under lot of pressure in the opening stages of the game and they did not have any answers. This win is definitely going to help the guy’s confidence going to a tough game away to Ajax Cape Town this coming weekend,” said Nahayo.
The towering defender also paid a glowing tribute to his teammates Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Nkosinathi Nhleko who both found the back of the net against their former Club.
“As a player you always look forward to playing against your former teammates and it was no different for the guys. It was unfortunate that we had to lose both players through injuries…I am hoping it is nothing serious,” added Nahayo.
Meanwhile, the no nonsense defender revealed to kaizerchiefs.com that he will be seeing the Club doctor on Monday afternoon. He will then be able to inform the ‘Amakhosi’ on the success of the operation.
