Abia ‘Mkhutuzi’ Nale has expressed his delight after renewing his contract with the Glamour Boys last week.
The Vaal born, soft spoken midfielder penned a three-year deal with the Club that is going to tie him at Chiefs until the end of 2014/2015 season, and quickly dismissed rumours that he wanted to get away from the Club.
“I said it last year that I am committed to the Club and I want to stay here to win trophies,” he said pointing out to the interview with kaizerchiefs.com in November.
“I have always wanted to stay and I am glad the Club also expressed the same sentiments. I am delighted to have signed a new contract. It helps you as a player when you know where your future lies. I am going to the second half of the season refreshed and like I have always been, to give my best to the team.
Nale has looked sharp in training and was one of the players that stood out as Chiefs Reserves played a goalless draw against Bidvest Wits last month.
“I always work hard and this time it has not been different. It is through football that as a bread winner at home I am able to put bread on the table. I do not take anything for granted and I am sure I speak for my teammates as well.
“We have a tough schedule ahead of us and all we have to do is to give our best and God will give the rest,” added Nale who was singled out by legend, Teenage Dladla two years ago as his ‘favourite player’.
