Steven Ncanana believes that the Glamour Boys have all the ammunition to beat Bloemfontein Celtic this coming weekend at Seisa Ramabodu Stadium in Bloemfontein on Saturday, 24 September 2011.

The game against Celtic brings lot of memories for the KwaZulu Natal born who made his first start against Celtic last January. It was in the same game that he grabbed his first goal for the Amakhosi.

“I remember that game like it was yesterday,” said the player affectionately known to kaizerchiefs.com as “Stevovo”.

“It was my first start since joining the Club and although I did not have a good game I managed to score my first goal. It was a proud moment even though we did not win the game,”

On the night the Glamour Boys needed a breath taking strike from Knowledge Musona with Celtic leading 2-1 towards the dying minutes of the game.

“Things are different this time. We are going to Bloemfontein with lots of confidence but not overconfident. We believe we can go and beat them in Bloemfontein.

Ncanana also poured water on reports that the Club was looking at loaning him towards the start of the current campaign, “I only read about that on newspapers. I was never discouraged though and continued to give 100% in training.

“I am also grateful for the encouragement I have received from my teammates lately. I have been working hard and hopefully I can get another chance in the team.

Meanwhile, Lucky Baloyi is back doing full training with the team after getting a knock on his knee against Orlando Pirates last Saturday.
