Goalkeeper Thela Ngobeni will be out of action for about eight weeks revealed team physiotherapist Dave Milner on Monday.

The Under-23 goalminder had a successful operation on his left shoulder last Wednesday. “The operation was very successful and the player is now undergoing rehabilitation. He should be out for between six to eight weeks,” said Milner, speaking to kaizerchiefs.com.

Milner added that midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala will miss the game against Moroka Swallows as he is still undergoing rehabilitation on his hip.

Good news coming from the camp is that defender Valery Nahayo, who missed the game against Platinum Stars due to a foot injury, is back at training and should be available for selection against Swallows.

Kickoff for the game is at 8pm on Wednesday at Dobsonville Stadium.
