Goalkeeper, Thela Ngobeni will undergo an operation on his left shoulder on Wednesday 13th October. The Team Physio, David Milner, revealed this to kaizerchiefs.com.
Ngobeni, a product of Kaizer Chiefs Youth Development was called up to the U23 squad to face Iran but was dropped due to the injury to his left shoulder.
Thela made his debut for the Glamour Boys in August last year and went on to represent the South African U20 squad in the World Cup a month later in Egypt.
Kaizer Chiefs Family in its entirety would like to wish him a speedy recovery.
