The Amajita were hoping to increase their chances for qualifying for the knockout stages of the World Cup Tournament currently underway in Egypt but found their opponents in an uncompromising mood.

Coach, Serame Letsoaka had recalled Thela Ngobeni for the game against Hungary after watching the game on Sunday 2 all draw against United Arab Emirates from the bench.

“I was not disappointed that I conceded the four goals but the way we played,” Thela told kaizerchiefs.com on the bus from Alexandria to Cairo where the team will be playing their last group game against Honduras on Saturday.

“We created lot of chances on Wednesday night but could not convert them and we paid the price for that. Those guys really punished us. I remember telling the guys during half time that we need to take our chances or we will be sorry at the end of the final whistle and that is what happened. It was a must win game for us but we know that we cannot drop our heads as we have Honduras on Saturday night. Everyone in the camp is fine and we know that the game on Saturday presents us with an opportunity to make amends of what happened on Wednesday,” he said confidently.

Thela revealed to kaizerchiefs.com that the moral in the camp is high despite the heavy defeat last night, “We are all positive here and we have put Wednesday’s disappointment behind us and focusing on the next game.”
