“Ninja” as the player is affectionately known at Shaft 17 (Kaizer Chiefs Development base) impressed earlier this year with his performances Gauteng Future International Tournament for the U-17s where he scored a winner against Corinthians. He was then promoted to the U-20 team now under the tutelage of Fani Madida.
Head of Kaizer Chiefs Development, Walter “Baresi” Steenbok expressed his delight for the 17 year old.
“He has a very good technique, a typical old-fashioned winger, down the line and cross. His is very quick. The boy has also come through the ranks and joined the team from our U-13. This year he has progressed quit nicely. He is a boy with immense talent who can eliminate opponents. We congratulate him and wish him all the best during the Cosafa Tournament,” said Steenbok.
Ninja has already represented the country at U-17 level. The other two players who are products of Kaizer Chiefs Development who were also named in the U-20 are Bongani Sondhlane (on loan to Carrara Kicks) and Mzuvele Skhosana who was released earlier this season and is now playing for Winners Park.
