The South African U-20 national team will jet out of the country on Friday to Angola where they will be participating in a Four Nations Tournament starting on Saturday, 28 August to Sunday, 29 August 2010.

Sensation and 17-year-old winger, Tshegofatso Ramabu speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Thursday said they would be looking at redeeming themselves following the disappointment of not qualifying for the African Youth Championships after losing to neighbours, Lesotho.

“Preparations for the tournament have been going very well. It is important that we go to this tournament with a positive attitude following the setback against Lesotho a couple of weeks ago. It will not be easy for us as we are coming against strong nations like Zambia, the hosts Angola, Lesotho and Mozambique but for us we are focusing on doing well,” said the player affectionately known as “Ninja” in football circles.

Meanwhile five players from Chiefs U-17 have been called to the national U-17 squad popularly known as Amajimbos. The players are midfielders, Boitumelo “Six” Xaba, Maselaelo “Shakes” Seanego, defenders Lorenzo Godinho, captain Nkululeko “China” Tshangane and striker, Thabani Mthembu.
