No room for complacency - Baxter

Stuart Baxter has urged his charges to remain focused following an emphatic 3-0 victory against Bloemfontein Celtic on Sunday at Free State Stadium. The win on Sunday was the first for the Glamour Boys over Bloemfontein Celtic since 2008/2009 season.

"We have to remain focused and it is my job as a Coach to ensure that the team is focused on the next battle.

"We still have to go out to play and win games. We cannot start to be complacent and I am going to address this with the team.

Going back to the game the Briton commented; "It was a good game for the crowd.

"We did see few passes going astray but what was positive especially in the first half was the way we defended the box.

"This was a typical difficult fixture and we knew well in advance. It is never easy to come here and win. I am of course pleased with the result.

Baxter believes there is still a long way to go and is expecting his charges to improve.

"I hear we did not do well despite the result. We need to be more composed and composure was not very good overall. I was pleased with the way Kingston (Nkhatha) finished in the first half. We work very hard on those situations.

Baxter also cautioned his charges on yellow cards after skipper; Itumeleng Khune was cautioned by the referee for time wasting.

"We need to be very careful about these yellow cards. We had one for Keegan Ritchie who was tying his boot laces and in another game we had one unnecessary card for Majoro. I am not pleased with these yellow cards as they can come back to haunt us," added Baxter.
