No room for sentiments – Mashamaite

Tefu Mashamaite has said that the MTN8 quarter final against his former Club Bidvest Wits on Sunday is an opportunity for the Club to start the season, 2011/2012 with a bang.



Tefu Mashamaite, a former captain of the Students joined the Glamour Boys at the end of 2010/2011 season after spending three years with the Club.



“I have a new employer in Chiefs now,” said the tough tackling defender speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Monday morning.



“My loyalty lies with Kaizer Chiefs and there is no room for sentiments. I am grateful for the opportunity Wits gave me but on Sunday we want to win and go all the way to win the trophy.”



“Kaizer Chiefs is about winning trophies. It is important that we beat Wits and proceed to the next stage of the competition.”



“The preseason has given us an idea on some of the areas we need to improve on as a team and I have no doubt that we beat Wits and proceed to the next stage of the competition,” added Mashamaite.
