Kaizer Chiefs would like to remind supporters that spectators will not be allowed at the Soweto Derby on Saturday, 6 November 2021 when Amakhosi welcome Orlando Pirates to the FNB Stadium.

As per the statement from the Premier Soccer League on 13 October 2021, the league confirmed that they are still in the process of gathering information on the learnings from SAFA and looking at the best and safest way of welcoming supporters back to the stadium.

Amakhosi will await the decision from the PSL on the most suitable date to welcome supporters back and the protocols that will be followed before we communicate further on the matter.

Until then, Kaizer Chiefs calls upon all supporters to continue to support and observe the government’s safety protocols during this time. If we follow all the precautions, it will make it easier for us to have as many supporters back in the stadium sooner.

Those who will be gathering to watch the big Soweto Derby between The Glamour Boys and the Buccaneers on Saturday must do so in the safest possible way. Let’s continue to wear our masks, practice social distancing and sanitise our hands at all times.
