October month is a busy and special month for Kaizer Chiefs. We will see an unusually late start of the new season with the MTN8 on the 17th and the DStv Premiership a week later due to the Covid-19 lockdown that forced us to temporarily suspend the previous season. Most importantly for us, we will be celebrating our Chairman Kaizer Motaung’s birthday on the 16th, so it is a special month to all of us.
With all its activities, our KCTV team have put together another awesome episode of our favourite television show for the month of October, which premiers this evening.
We get into the swing of things for the 2020/21 season by looking at our two youngsters Keletso Sifama and Lebohang Lesako who have come through our ranks working with coaches Ace Khuse and Arthur Zwane. We also speak to now assistant coach Zwane about the two players who joined the senior team in the bio-bubble to complete the 2019/20 season.
In our Health & Fitness feature, we are once again with one of our High-Performance Centre Supervisor Mpho Selamolela as she trains with Siyabonga Ngezana and Njabulo Blom in the KC High Performance Centre. There will be tips for the views as keeping fit is important for all of us as gyms reopen.
We close our history segment of the last five decades by looking at the last few years up to the celebration of the 50th year celebration.
Attacking midfielder Khama Billiat is in the spotlight in the ‘Behind the jersey number’ feature as he takes us through the famous number 11. He will talk about some of the memories and the stories he has been told about some of the legends who have donned the iconic and respected jersey number.
