The 29-year-old Zimbabwean international while pleased with his contributions during the games that he has featured in, believes that this coming Sunday game against SuperSport United will be one of the most challenging league games of the campaign thus far.
“These are the games where boys are separated from men” said a philosophical Sweswe who has already conditioned himself to expect a mighty struggle against the three times defending league champions.
As he added “it is a big game will be a difficult one they are at home which favours them but like always we know that we can count on our fans to come in large numbers.
We must be prepared to shock them and take the game to them.”
Sweswe believes that having defeated SuperSport the last time the teams met earlier this year in a Nedbank Cup game is a definite boos for the Amakhosi going into Sunday’s crucial clash.
“We managed to defeat them in the Nedbank Cup last season, we dug deep and worked hard to win that game and if we play the same way on Sunday we can definitely repeat that result.
We are determined and want to turn around our league record against them, they are the champions and we have everything to prove”.
With Chiefs unbeaten in the league this season Sweswe maintains that it will be key for the Amakhosi to be as disciplined in defence as they have been in their previous five games, and in addition they need to put in maximum effort to ensure they collect all three points.
He ended off his discussion with kaizerchiefs.com saying, “we have to win against the champions they are a magnificent team and if we able to pick up a win against them it will be a major boost to our confidence, if we win it will show how strong we are as a team.
There is no doubt this will be one of our toughest games yet “
