Absa Premiership joint leading goalscorer with eight goals, Bernard Parker may be available for selection for Amakhosi’s final game of the year on Tuesday, 18 December 2012 at the FNB Stadium against AmaZulu.

‘Hond’ as Parker is affectionately known in football circles suffered what looked like a nasty ankle injury against Pretoria University on Saturday and after seeing a doctor on Sunday morning, Team Physio Dave Milner revealed that that the Bafana Bafana marksman might be available for selection for the AmaZulu encounter.

“Parker (Bernard) saw the doctor on Sunday morning. The doctor was happy that there was no swelling. He should be available for selection on Tuesday,” said Milner.

Bernard Parker scored four goals the last time the two sides met in the opening game of the season.

Meanwhile, Tower Mathoho who had his knee strapped in the second half of the Tuks game should also be available for selection after joining Bernard Parker for a scan early on Monday.
