Bernard Parker has been rewarded for his scintillating form since the start of the 2013/14 season. 'Hond' was the major winner at the Q1 and Q2 Individual Awards. The announcement was made at the PSL Headquarters this afternoon.

'Hond' as was credited for the most assists in the league last season losing out to scoop the Absa Premiership Top Goal Scorer award with one goal to the eventual winner Katlego Mashego.

"I would like to thank my teammates. I am working hard to be a Team player and to assist where possible during the game. Last year I did a lot of assisting and the Coach always reminded me of my role in the Team," said a visibly happy Parker.

"The Coach has been helpful to my improvement and I would like to thank him. My family, my wife in particular has been supportive. I hope to continue working hard and improving on my game," commented Parker.

Parker will walk away with a cool R30 000 for winning the two Quarters.
