“This is really amazing,” Tsepo Masilela commented on the activation at the Kaizer Chiefs Insurance store at Pier 14 Mall in Port Elizabeth. “The mall was lit and the energy was great. To see so many people coming through to the store and showing Chiefs so much support and love is humbling. I’m lost for words to describe this magnificent feeling.”
Masilela, Bruce Bvuma, Kgotso Moleko and Chiefs officials flew the Amakhosi flag at Pier 14 Mall, in Port Elizabeth on Saturday afternoon.
“For the club to take the brand to the people is forward-thinking indeed,” added an elated Masilela. “It’s important to see our supporters so happy.”
The store has already taken off with signatories for Kaizer Chiefs Insurance products coming thick and fast. “It’s important to assure our families with funeral cover,” Masilela points out. “We all aspire to send off our loved ones with dignity when the time comes. The store is a significant step by Chiefs to empower the people with the products on offer at the KC Insurance and KC Retail stores.”
KC Mobile and other authentic merchandise are also flying off the shelves like hot cakes.
“We are about Love and Peace,” concluded Masilela, flanked by his teammates. “We hope people will use this facility to their utmost advantage.”
Chiefs are in town to play in a Telkom Knockout quarterfinal against Chippa United on Sunday, 5 November. Kick-off is at 15:30.
The Activation at Pier 14 Mall will continue on Sunday morning.
