The Kaizer Chiefs players held a ten metre long banner congratulating their Chairman Kaizer Motaung for his 70th birthday last week ahead of the Moroka Swallows clash. In keeping with the season’s theme, the message on the banner was “YOU INSPIRE GREATNESS”.

These are words that describe the Chairman’s influence on the lives of many people, including current and former Kaizer Chiefs players. Amakhosi’s Retail Manager Emmanuel Khumalo enthusiastically reacted: “Our supporters absolutely loved it as it was a fitting tribute to a great man.”

The Club has been celebrating the Chairman’s birthday for the month of October with supporters using the #KM70 and #KaizerSNR hashtags to share their messages on the Club’s digital platforms.
