Kaizer Chiefs players and Coach are nominated in the 2013/14 PSL Awards. The players Willard Katsande, Knowledge Musona and Captain Itumeleng Khune and Head Coach were nominated in a variety of categories. The announcement was made on Thursday afternoon at the Psl Headquarters.

The hard tackling midfielder Katsande was nominated in both the Footballer of the Season and Absa Premiership Players’ Player of the Season.

Captain Khune received a nomination in the category of Absa Premiership Goalkeeper of the Season.

Striker Knowledge Musona received a nomination in the category of the Absa Premiership Absa-lutely Awesome Goal of the Season while Head Coach Baxter was nominated in the category of Absa Premiership Coach of the Season.

The Absa Premiership Top Goalscorer will be decided after the final games of this season to be played on Saturday, 10 May 2014 at 15:00. Bernard Parker is currently easing the standings with 10 goals.

There will also be the Absa Premiership Young Player of the Season, Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament, Nedbank Cup Most Promising Player of the Tournament, Telkom Knockout Player of the Tournament, MTN8 Last Man Standing and the Top Goal scorer of the Season.

The awards are scheduled to take place on Sunday,18 May 2014, at Sandton Convention Centre at 20:00 - 22:30. The Awards will be broadcast live on SS and Sabc.
