Following the pandemonium that broke out during the Coke Cup finals between Kaizer Chiefs and Jomo Cosmos, Amakhosi were on Tuesday fined R100 000 by the PSL's disciplinary committee.

Half the fine is payable within 30 days while the rest of it is suspended until the end of season.

However, the committee has made it clear that should an occurrence like that happen again, the team will be forced to play one of the matches behind closed doors, but not before an appearance before the disciplinary committee.

Chiefs' main charge is that of bringing the league into dispute when their supporters interrupted the final against Cosmos to be stopped for almost 30 minutes as their threw missiles on the pitch.
