Defender Ramahlwe ‘Rama’ Mphahlele missed Kaizer Chiefs’ win over Ajax Cape Town on the weekend due to an ankle injury. The full-back has started with light training and should return to full action soon.



Meanwhile, the medical team reported that George Maluleka is suffering from a hamstring injury. This comes at the backdrop of his two match suspension after having received his matching orders against Ajax.



Furthermore, goalkeeper Luthando Sixhaso and striker Ryan Moon, who both underwent knee surgeries, are said to be recovering well.



Enocent Mkhabela and Erick Mathoho are back to full training. The midfielder had a slight injury, while ‘Tower’ missed the Urban Warriors clash due to a family bereavement.



Chiefs host Maritzburg United in a Telkom Knockout Last 16 fixture on Saturday, 22 October, at the FNB Stadium.
