Bloemfontein Celtic FC who won the Macufe Cup in 2008 by beating the Free State Stars in the final will get a new opportunity to show the world that they still have what it takes to win big cups.
Last year, an inspired performance by Zimbabwean striker Knowledge Musona helped Kaizer Chiefs beat Bloemfontein Celtic 3-1 in a packed Free State Stadium by scoring a hat trick.
Both teams have already clashed this season in the MTN8 competition and a league game where Kaizer chief won both games played in Johannesburg but the host team will be looking forward to get a sweet revenge, having lost their last league encounter, the MTN8 and last year Macufe Cup in front of their home crowd. However, the morale will be high in the Kaizer Chiefs camp, if they manage to make it to the final of the MTN8.
Once thing for sure, There will be either sacred cows or prisoners!!!!!
Could this be Bloemfontein Celtic’s revenge or the Siwelele sa masele are drowning deep into the Kaizer Chiefs ‘river?
Certainly, Phunya Selele will, though, provide a good indication of whether the team still has the big match temperament required for Macufe Cup.
