Kaizer Chiefs will meet rivals Orlando Pirates in the final of the MTN8 following a 5-0 aggregate win over Platinum Stars.

Baxter was delighted after the game:

"We knew what sort of game to expect. A tough hand was always in store here. I'm pleased in the way the players took to the field to win.

Maluleka's goal was worth waiting for. Very happy with the way the players approached the game. I am pleased with the results," said Baxter.

What was the turning point today?

“When we got the goal I think it was difficult for them mentally and we got more and more chances on the transition because they threw caution to the wind.”

The good performance?

"Performance first before anything and I'm glad the boys were professional about the game." said Baxter.

Chiefs will now face Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates in the final on September 20. The Buccaneers beat Bidvest Wits 5-1 over two legs.

About the Derby final?

Baxter said: "It's tremendous, it will be a great occasion. If we look at the derbies before, this one's a cup final, so that will give it some extra spice. It's a special occasion, especially for South African football."

The venue and kickoff times will be announced soon.
