Club legend, Lucas “Rhoo” Radebe believes that the Club will miss defender, Thomas Sweswe when they take on Bloemfontein Celtic at Super Stadium on Saturday.

The no nonsense defender has been a vital cog in the heart of defence for Chiefs since the beginning of the season and misses the trip to Super Stadium due to suspension. Rambo, as the player, is affectionately known also missed the last trip to the stadium when Chiefs played to a pulsating 2-all draw.

“I have seen him a couple of times and he is a good defender,” said the defender who donned the famous black and gold between 1990 and 1994.

“I was happy to meet him today at Naturena. I believe that Chiefs made a good signing in him and I am sure that the Club is definitely going to benefit from him in the future.

It is up to him but I believe that he can be a legend here like Doctor Khumalo and many others,” Radebe told kaizerchiefs.com at Club’s headquarters in Naturena where he was shooting an advert.

Rhoo also believes that Chiefs still has chance to challenge for the championship.

“They have been playing very well lately but there is still a lot of work ahead.

They need to believe in themselves because anything can still happen at the top,” said the Diepkloof-born who won double with the Club back in 1992.
