Riveting KCTV show in February

The first KCTV show of the year will debut on your screens this evening at 18:30 on SuperSport’s PSL Channel 202.

The KCTV team has been hard at work to bring you another made-for-tv episode of Amakhosi supporters’ favourite television show.

In this week’s show, there are some interesting segments that touch on the various generations of the team and also on some young Amakhosi supporters.

In the Cream of the Crop segment, we put the focus on the reserve team. We travel with the young men and follow them on a typical trip away from home representing the brand. We speak to some of the young players and get a sense from them how they feel about their performance and the game. This team has won a number of back to back matches in January and scored an avalanche of goals in the process.

Club Legends and Kaizer Chiefs Youth Development Academy Scout, Donald “Ace” Khuse, and Education Officer Ntsie “Teargas” Maphike take a look at Khuse’s playing days, his influence on the brand and his football journey with the Club.

This Golden Session segment will be another nostalgic moment for those who watched the two play for Chiefs in the 80s and 90s.

As a caring brand, we worked with our main sponsor Vodacom on a very important corporate social responsibility programme at the start of the school year to give out 600 stationery packs to some well deserving school children from a school in Gauteng. The segment is known as Amakhosi Cares, which looks at initiatives that are undertaken by the Club to lend a hand to those who are less fortunate.

Having looked at the young players and legends, we also put the focus on the senior team as we take a back look at our story of the first half of the 2021/22 season. The crew sat with assistant coaches Arthur “10111” Zwane and Dillon “Sheppy” Sheppard at the mid-season camp in Stellenbosch as they unpacked our journey from August to December. They review and talk about some ups and downs and where the team is currently at. They also look forward to the remainder of the season.

Make sure to catch another fantastic show loved by young and old Amakhosi supporters as it premieres on the PSL Channel on SuperSport 2, DStv channel 202 this evening at 18:30.

Our social media platforms will share details of the reruns of the show during the course of the month of love.
