Coach Ryder Mofokeng expressed his satisfaction after his side Kaizer Chiefs U17 displayed good football at the Emfuleni/Eindhoven Tournament played today at the George Thabe Stadium in Sharpeville.
The U17’s brushed aside Mohlodi Secondary School 2-0 in what Ryder described as a challenging game. In the second encounter the U17’s played to a goalless draw with Abia Nale’s side Nale Academy.
Mofokeng spoke to kaizerchiefs.com after the game; “We played well today. We displayed good football, we attacked and defended very well. I am very happy for Yusuf Bunting for scoring the two goals in the first game, he is working hard and it is paying off. The rest of the boys looked sharp today. We are looking forward to face ELFA (Everton Local Football Association) and PSV Eindhoven. We want to beat PSV as they are the visitors.”
The tournament continues on Saturday, 15 December at the same venue (George Thabe Stadium) with Kaizer Chiefs U17 facing ELFA and PSV Eindhoven at 10:00 and 14:00 respectively.
