Amakhosi Women gathered in Phuthaditjhaba, QwaQwa for a special intimate celebration of Women in the Amakhosi Family. Women from QwaQwa, Harrismith, Bloemfontein and Warden had ‘High tea’, cake and cupcakes with members of the Marketing and ASC team.

This is a series of tea sessions that Marketing Director Jessica Motaung and her Supporters’ Club Team will be hosting in the various provinces to engage and interact with the beautiful Women of the Gold and Black. Key issues were discussed as ladies asked questions about the imminent relaunch of the new Amakhosi Supporters Club card, they gave their comments and shared their feelings and experiences as Women and the role they play in the Amakhosi Family while Jessica shared information with them about the Club’s Insurance offering (KCI) and the Club’s Mobile offering (KCM).

The season’s theme was introduced to the ladies as Jessica explained that this season the Club would be asking supporters to ‘Inspire Greatness’ in all they do. She reiterated the success of the ‘Reclaiming the Glory’ campaign and how the supporters rallied behind the team. “You remember the Reclaiming the Glory campaign and how we all got behind the team? Well this season, we will be asking you to Inspire Greatness in others and within yourselves!”

The ladies received goodie bags and won prizes in a draw that saw ten ladies walk away with KC goodies ranging from the KC Pink Cancer Awareness t-shirts, KC aprons, the much coveted KC blankets and a special fragrance for a special grand prize winner.

Local based Kemiso Mokoena from QwaQwa Branch was so elated all she could say was; “I am so happy to be here with the Amakhosi Ladies, I am so proud to be a Khosi. I will tell my Family about the day and I will support this team forever and ever, for Life!”

Look out for the ladies of Amakhosi as they visit rest of the Amakhosi Family for more sessions where ladies can address issues, ask questions and share in the experience of sheer Glamour.

Kaizer Chiefs would like to thank the vibrant and energetic ladies who attended the tea session and wish ALL women of the world a Happy Women’s Day and Women’s Month, let’s celebrate the spirit of our Mothers, Daughters and Sisters everyday!
