“We will be going with the same approach that we used against Free State Stars,” says coach Steve Komphela about Kaizer Chiefs’ Absa Premiership fixture against Polokwane City on Tuesday evening. “We know City very well. We have intelligence on them.”
“They will play and have a go at us,” adds the Amakhosi coach, before adding about City’s style of play: “We know the profile of their coach (Kosta Papic).”
Rise and Shine and Chiefs will face each other at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday night, 25 August (kick-off at 19:30).
“We are traveling with the same squad that did duty on Saturday,” confirms Komphela. Chiefs walloped Free State Stars 4-0 on the weekend.
In head-to-head stats, Polokwane and Chiefs have met in four league matches since 2013/14.
The Amakhosi boast an unbeaten record in the sequence, with three wins to their name and one draw.
