“Scoring goals is my job and when I enter the field all I am thinking about is hitting the back of the net. It is never about me though but the team. When the team wins I am happy even if I have not scored. I was very disappointed when we failed to score against Santos last weekend but we have all put that behind and we focusing on the next game,” he said with a smile.
Knowledge's form in front of goals has been impressive during the preseason, scoring on his first appearance for the Club against Bay United in the Premier’s Cup. It was his goal against Orlando Pirates though in the Charity Cup that caught the attention of the Kaizer Chiefs faithful. His clinical finish against Bidvest Wits at Rand Stadium was awesome.
“I try to score all the time and I want to thank the Technical Team and my teammates for encouraging me. The guys have been great and everyone can see that we are all united here which augers well for the success of the team.”
Musona told kaizerchiefs.com that he has not watched Ajax Cape Town who knocked out Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates in the same competition.
“I do not know much about them but I am sure the Technical Team has a plan. As players we want to win every game including the one against Ajax on Saturday,” he added.
