Kaizer Chiefs will be represented by seven players in the South Africa squad set to participate in the 2026 U17 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Morocco, which runs from 13 May to 2 June.
Goalkeeper, Keabetswe Morake is joined by defenders, Tashil Rugananana, Reotshepile Malete, Lutho Makunga, Tumelo Moerane and midfielder, Jesse Gewer in the 21-man squad.
Amakhosi youth development coach, Vela Khumalo will take charge of Amajimbos at the showcase event, in which they will compete in Group D of the round-robin phase of the competition.
They begin the campaign against Senegal U17 on 14 May, followed by a clash with Algeria U17 three days later before wrapping up the first round against Ghana on 20 May.
The top two teams from each group qualify for the knockout stages as well as securing a place at the 2026 FIFA U17 World Cup to be held in Qatar in November.
