Captain Siphiwe ‘Shabba’ Tshabalala is doubtful to feature in the last game of the 2015/16 Absa Premiership season.
“Shabba is undergoing treatment to his knee,” coach Steve Komphela revealed after today’s training session at Chiefs Village. “We hope he will recover on time to face Chippa on Saturday.”
Kgotso Moleko, meanwhile, watched today’s training from the sidelines due to a slight hamstring concern.
“Moleko did not take part in full training today,” said Komphela. “It is a precaution for now. However, the medical team will assess his condition and give us guidance leading up to Saturday.”
The Amakhosi will host Chippa United on the final day of the league season on Saturday, 21 May. Kick-off is at 15:00.
Tickets are available at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers outlets nationwide for R40.
