"We can't rest on our laurels," states Siphiwe 'Shabba' Tshabalala after grabbing his first Absa Man of the Match award.



Shabba displayed his old self when he played in an unfamiliar striking role against an enthusiastic Ajax Cape Town in Cape Town.



Chiefs continued with their winning streak stretching it to eight wins our of eight this season.



Shabba expressed happiness, "I am happy with the contribution I made to win the match today. The award is a team effort.



It was tough to play in an unfamiliar role as a striker but I was up for it. I am not really back in full force. It's all work in progress. I have not arrived, I have to work hard. Now I'm just pleased that the team is playing well."



"It is a great moment for the whole team to win all our matches. It doesn't happen all the time. We can't rest on our laurels, we have to continue working hard," said an inspired 'Shabba'.



Chiefs won 1-0 courtesy of Mashamaite's trademark header scored in the second half.
