Kaizer Chiefs dazzling midfielder Siphiwe ‘Shabba’ Tshabalala has extended his stay at Naturena for a further three years to his existing contract which was ending in June this year; effectively sealing his future up to 2018.

This will be welcomed news to the Amakhosi faithful after this follows the extensions of the contracts of Kgotso Moleko and Brilliant Khuzwayo recently.

’Shabba’ as affectionately known, is a graduate of Chiefs development, though he went on to play for Alexander United and Free State Stars before he made his debut in the senior ranks of the Amakhosi in 2007.

‘Shabba’ has his name engraved in the South African football history. He scored the opener during the Fifa World Cup held in South Africa in 2010. The goal later received a nomination for goal of the year by Fifa.
