Football Manager Bobby Motaung has revealed that the Club has granted Siphiwe Tshabalala ‘three days to think over his future’.

This followed an announcement on Friday that the player had “agreed to sign a three-year-extension with the Club and was due to sign on Monday,” said Motaung.

“We had an agreement with the player through his Manager, Jazzman Mahlakgane, that the player will sign a contract extension on Monday.

“It is unfortunate that the Manager, through the media, contradicted the agreement.

The deadline was not met on Monday. The Club then communicated with the player’s manager that the deal was off the table,” explained Football Manager, Bobby Motaung, speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Tuesday afternoon.

“Subsequent to this, the player requested a meeting with the Executive Chairman (Kaizer Motaung) on Tuesday. He requested that the Club give him three days to think over his future and the Executive Chairman acceded to the request”, he said.

"We are also proud to announce that midfielder George Lebese has signed a new three-year deal that will tie him to the Club until June 2015”, added Bobby Motaung.
