Siphiwe Tshabalala was voted as the most outstanding player in the past three months by Kaizer Chiefs in a new competition courtesy of Club vehicle partners, Nissan.
‘Shabba’ was presented with a brand new Nissan Juke by a lucky supporter and he is going to drive for the next three months.
In accepting the prize, Siphiwe Tshabalala said, “I would like to thank the Technical Team and my teammates for the support in the last quarter. A big thank you to the fans who voted for me, I must admit that I was really taken by surprise as I was not aware of the prize.
Tshabalala quickly pointed out that he is focusing on winning trophies with the team as compared to individual awards; “It is always good to win individual awards as players but the team always come first.
“There is no feeling that beats winning a trophy and celebrating with your teammates and the supporters. We have been working hard in training since returning back in January and hopefully we can put smiles on the face of our supporters by winning the league title,” said the dazzling midfielder speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Monday afternoon.
Meanwhile supporters can continue voting at http://playerofthequarter.co.za and one lucky voter can win Kaizer Chiefs memorabilia and an opportunity to hand keys of the Nissan Juke to the chosen Player of the Quarter.
Cast one vote after every Kaizer Chiefs match to stand a chance to win the prize.
The Nissan Juke will in the end be won by a one lucky supporter. Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung revealed during the Press Conference at Kaizer Chiefs Village Naturena.
